After winning Saudi Arabia 2-0, OMAN qualifies to semi-final in 23rd Gulf Cup

The Omani National Soccer Team qualified to the semi-final in the 23rd Gulf Cup currently being held in Kuwait until January the 5th after winning over the Saudi team 2/0 played at Kuwait Club Stadium.

ِAccording to ONA, the National team tops Group (A) with 6 points while the United Arab Emirates team came in the second place with 5 points after drawing with Kuwait 0/0 Saudi Arabia team in the 3rd place with 4 points.

The two goals were scored for the Omani team by Khalid Abdul Baqi who scored the first mistakenly in his goal in the (58) minute while the second was scored by the Omani attacker Said al- Ruzaiqi in the (76) minute.

The groups stage ends on Friday with two matches in the second group, where Iraqi team (4 points) to meet Yemen (zero point) and Qatar (3 points) with Bahrain (4 points).
