On the sidelines of the visit of HH Crown Prince..”Saudi Standards & Egyptian National Quality Institute sign a technical cooperation program

The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization signed a technical cooperation program in the areas of quality and its applications with the National Quality Institute in the Arab Republic of Egypt, on the sidelines of the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister – may God protect him – for the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The technical program was signed by the Saudi Standards Authority, His Excellency the Governor of the Authority, Dr. Saad bin Othman Al-Qasabi, while the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Muhammad Atman, signed on the part of the National Quality Institute. The program aims to strengthen the strategic partnership, increase trade exchange between the two countries, ensure the quality of products and services, and enhance cooperation in Quality related areas.
The program aims to develop frameworks for joint cooperation in several areas, most notably the exchange of experiences, information, data, studies and scientific research in the fields of quality, its systems, applications and related international practices, as well as cooperation to develop relevant standards.
This agreement comes within the framework of economic, commercial and investment cooperation signed between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt, and in implementation of the recommendations issued by the meetings of the Saudi-Egyptian Joint Committee, which stress the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the field of standards, metrology and quality.
