Ambassador Soha Gendi: The Ministry of Health will be provided with data on doctors who wish to support the health system in Egypt to benefit from the experience they have acquired abroad.
In implementation of the requests of Egyptian medical professors and doctors abroad to support the health and medical field in Egypt, due to their desire to return the favor and support their homeland, to which they owe the success they have achieved, and their request from the Ministry of Immigration to participate in all forms in supporting the medical field, training and medical supplies in Egypt, The Ministry of State for Immigration and Affairs of Egyptians Abroad has launched an electronic form to register Egyptian doctors abroad who wish to support the health system in Egypt, especially the most needy groups.
For her part, Ambassador Soha Gendi, Minister of Immigration, referred to her meeting with Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, in the city of New Alamein, which discussed the requests of Egyptian medical professors abroad and the possibility of the Ministry of Health benefiting from their presence on leave to support the health field in Egypt, where it was agreed that the Ministry of Health would be provided with Health, with the names of Egyptian doctors and their specializations in various fields of cooperation in which they expressed their desire to benefit their country, to support the health system in Egypt with their experiences they gained abroad, to support the most needy groups.

Ambassador Soha Gendy indicated that this was one of the demands and needs of Egyptian doctors abroad, which the doctors conveyed during her meetings with Egyptian communities abroad via “videoconferencing” within the framework of the “An Hour with the Minister” initiative, which she conveyed to Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, pointing out that these needs were represented in a request Facilitating the procedures for obtaining a permit to practice the profession, in addition to the desire of the Texas Medical Council in the United States of America, to cooperate with the Ministry of Health and seek the assistance of Egyptian doctors who are members of the Council, with specialized specialties and great experience in the Ministry’s efforts to support the health system in Egypt through an agreement to be signed with the Egyptian Medical Council.
The Minister explained that there are a large number of Egyptian doctors abroad with great experience in all medical fields, who have a desire to serve their country and contribute to supporting the health system in Egypt for the benefit of the Egyptian citizen, and there is also a desire from a number of Egyptian doctors abroad to support the state’s efforts, Within the strategy of developing the medical tourism system in Egypt, as well as performing surgical operations during their stay in Egypt, in addition to their desire to donate medical equipment, she called on doctors to complete the form so that coordination and cooperation can be achieved with the Ministry of Health and Population to fulfill their desires, expressing her appreciation for the spirit of loyalty and belonging towards Their motherland.
