The Academy of Arts and the Korean Cultural Center open a K-Pop course

In cooperation with the Academy of Arts, the Korean Cultural Center opened its annual course teaching modern Korean singing and dancing (K-Pop), under the supervision of Korean choreographer Jae Kim.
About 100 trainees from different age groups will participate in the course, which runs until May 14, with the aim of providing the opportunity for K-Pop fans and fans in Egypt to train on singing and performing lively show movements like famous K-Pop stars.
It is expected that the participants in the course will qualify to participate in the K-Pop Festival, which will be organized next May 24 at the Egyptian Opera House, which is an annual gathering for K-Pop fans in Egypt, to demonstrate their skills and passion for singing and dancing in the style of Korean K-Pop bands.
For his part, Oh Sung Ho, Director of the Korean Cultural Center, said that K-Pop, which is one of the arms of the Korean Hallyu cultural wave, is very popular among young age groups, along with Korean drama and cinema.
The director of the center said that many cultural events will be organized during the current year as part of the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the establishment of the Korean Cultural Center in Egypt.
