Nile TV – The official website of the Ministry of Defense published via YouTube promo on the use of the submarine 209. During the video, the Ministry of Defense stated that the third German-made 209/1400 submarine will soon join the Egyptian navy.
The Ministry of Defense continued: “A new combat capability to deal with surface and underwater targets of the submarine 209/1400 of the latest models of attack submarines worldwide … in Egypt soon.”
