MENA – Egyptian player Khalid el Masry was crowned Friday the champion of the 15th Kuwait Rapid Chess Championship.
Philippines’s Ferdinand Laming came second, and Egypt’s Ahmed Ramadan came third in the tournament that was organized by the Kuwaiti Club for Mind Games.
As many as 38 local, Arab, and foreign players took part in the competitions.
