Civil Aviation Minister Sherif Fathi had s meeting with a number of transport and aviation ministers in Africa and the Middle East region on the sidelines of a recent regional conference in Sharm El Sheikh.
The meetings tackled ways of promoting cooperation in the field of aviation, particularly as regards training and airport development, said a statement released by the Civil Aviation Ministry on Saturday 26/8/2017.
Fathi conferred with several transport ministers, including Anis Ghadira of Tunisia, Cecilia Abena of Ghana and Sindisiwe Chikunga of South Africa.
Sharm El Sheikh witnessed on August 22-24 a conference of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) under the theme of “Global Aviation Security Plan (GASeP): The Roadmap to Foster Aviation Security in Africa and the Middle East.”
