On the Rhyme of Songs & poems, Oman Celebrates Holy Prophet Birth

Represented by the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs today, the Sultanate of Oman celebrated the Holy Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) Birthday. The ceremony was held at the theatre of the Higher College of Technology in Muscat under the patronage of Sheikh Khalid bin Omar al- Marhoon, Minister of Civil Service in the presence of a number of ministers and undersecretaries.

According to ONA, Sheikh Sultan bin Said al- Hinai, Director General of Preaching and Guidance at the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs delivered a speech where he said that the occasion ushers optimism and promotes serenity and security.

Al- Hinai expressed greetings to His Majsety Sultan Qaboos Bin Said on this blessed occasion and wished him good health and for the return of this occasion on His Majesty for many years to come and for the Islamic nation with blessings and security.  The ceremony included poems, songs and a video titled “Islam in Oman’.
