Egypt’s ambassador to Canada Ahmed Abu Zeid discussed Wednesday July 17, 2019 with head of the Business Council of Canada Goldy Hyder means of boosting investments, trade exchange, and economic cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting comes as part of the Egyptian embassy’s plan to attract Canadian investments into Egypt, and get businessmen familiar with the investment potentials in various fields and sectors in the Egyptian market, especially after the enacted new investment law.
Abu Zeid proposed establishing an Egyptian-Canadian business council, which groups giant companies in each country.
