During the meeting, the two sides reviewed aspects of the bilateral relations and the existing cooperation between the two friendly countries on various diplomatic, economic, investment, commercial and cultural fields, and means of enhancing and developing them.
The two sides also exchanged viewpoints on a number of regional and international issues of common concern, and stressing means of supporting and enhancing pillars of the regional and international security and stability. The meeting also discussed means of supporting efforts to achieve aims of the sustainable economic development for all.
The meeting was attended by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud al- Busaidi, Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry, a number of officials in the Foreign Ministry, the delegation accompanying the Japanese guest and Ambassador of Japan to the Sultanate.
