IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani said on Sunday that the Iranian nation has been standing strongly against pressures despite all enmities against the Islamic Republic.
This is while the regional wealth the state-terrorism system of the Zionist regime as the most evil regime of the history have been mobilized against the Islamic Republic of Iran, Rouhani said in a cabinet session, adding that the Iranian nation has left behind all the difficulties inside the country and the region.
“Today, we are in a special condition given the political situation in the world and we will certainly leave behind all the problems successfully,” he said.
The US and other powers will not be able to bring the Iranian nation to its knees, he said, noting, “We are standing strongly and will tread our path well.”
Describing the holy month of Ramadan as a clear manifestation of patience, he said that the way out of the problems is patience and resistance.
Prior to Rouhani’s speech, Vice President Es’haq Jahangiri presented a report on the government’s activities.
