During the speech of Health Minister Hala Zayed at the sixth National Youth Conference on Sunday 29/07/2018, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said the treatment of 9,000 patients out of a total 12,000 patients on waiting list costed about LE 1 billion. He added that this means that each case costed an average of 100,000 pounds.
Sisi said that if he has to choose between food and treatment of patients, he would choose the latter and called for joining hands in the face of any problem in order to solve it.
