Worth $ 48 mln, Saudi Arabia offers 12 projects to protect Yemeni citizens

At a total cost of $ 48,604,872 from 2015 to 2018, a recent survey on the efforts of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action in the protection, orphan care and rehabilitation of child soldiers and war-affected children in Yemen revealed 12 projects.

The statistics of the implementation of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action projects to support orphans in 2015 – 2017 in order to ensure care of orphans under the age of 18 years whether social, health, education and in various aspects.

The center also provided a project to rehabilitate children who are conscripted and affected by war to rehabilitate them, enroll them in schools and reintegrate them into society. The project was completed in eight phases during 2017 and 2018 at a cost of $ 837,424.

In support of the Center for the Government of Yemen, King Salman Humanitarian Relief and Humanitarian Center provided a $ 1.5 million grant to the National Commission to investigate allegations of human rights violations in three phases between 2017 and 2018, in addition to providing financial support of $ 5.406.808 for the response plan Humanity in Yemen in two phases 2018.

In continuation of the various aid to the brothers in Yemen and in order to remove the mines left by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militias, King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Action Center provided the Saudi project in June for mine clearance in all Yemeni governorates at a cost of $ 40 million.
