Al Madinah Al Munawwarah (the radiant city) is witnessing the arrival of large groups of citizens, residents and pilgrims from inside and outside the Kingdom to visit the Prophet’s Mosque and pray during the mid- year vacation, amid great efforts by the government and private agencies concerned to provide the best services to visitors to facilitate their travel and secure what they need. Health and nutrition, with special and generous follow-up by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Almadinah Region.
The General Agency for the Presidency of the Affairs of the Prophet’s Mosque has provided visitors and worshipers with all the quality services that guarantee their comfort and safety when visiting the mosque, as well as providing human resources for security and safety in coordination with the security authorities. As well as specialized departments to take care of the visitors ‘needs of religious guidance and services.
On the security side, the police of the Almedina area ridiculed all its services to serve visitors to facilitate traffic flow and promote mosques frequented by visitors such as the Mosque of Quba, the Mosque of Qablatin and the Mosque of Miqat, Martyrs and Trench, while the special forces of road security continue to follow the work on the roads carried out by the Department Transport and traffic routes, and traffic safety and health centers in Madinah, Makkah, Jeddah, Al-Qassim, Hail, Yanbu, Tabuk, Khaybar and Al-‘Ala.
For its part, the Almadinah Municipality has intensified its efforts to ensure the safety of health conditions in restaurants, places of sale of foodstuffs, supplies, safety of visitors’ homes, securing containers to collect waste and spreading hygiene workers in various locations in order to preserve public health and the constant appearance of the city of the Messenger of Allah
In terms of health, the Directorate General of Health Affairs in Almadinah through its health facilities offer the best medical and therapeutic services for visitors of the Prophet’s Mosque supported by qualified medical and technical elements.
The Department of Civil Defense in the city, is keen to provide protective services and the increase of civil defense teams deployed in specific locations and equipped with the latest means of rescue and firefighters.
