A series of Omani young people participated in the Muscat International Book Fair in the presence of Dr. Abdul Moneim bin Mansour Al Hosni, Minister of Information and Chairman of the Main Committee of the Exhibition.
The seminar was attended by a number of creative young people to showcase their technical expertise in the field of entrepreneurship. The seminar discussed the presentation of the SAS Center for Entrepreneurship, the experience of 35 films, technical marketing, pricing for technical projects and presentation of the basics book.
At the beginning of the seminar Mona Al-Shethanyah, Director of the SAS Center for Simulation, presented a presentation on the SAS Center for Entrepreneurship, a national center that contributes to the growth of IT entrepreneurship in the Sultanate. The objectives of the Center include providing job opportunities in the IT sector, In the field of information technology, while promoting the culture of entrepreneurship among Omani youth.
Al-Shehathabyah pointed out that the areas of companies incubated at the SAS center, how to join the center and the services it provides, and a set of future goals for the center. The second paper was presented by Zaher Al-Ghaithi, CEO of 35 Films, which specialized in the production of documentary films and documentaries, presenting its inception in 2014 and the reason for its designation, the organization of events and the content of social communication. A short film of the company’s most famous works was produced for the Ministry of Information on the Omani press. Ahmed Al Hosni, Senior Director of Digital Communications at Oreidwa, presented a paper on the marketing plan of the social networking sites, the marketing objectives, the publishing plan, the most prominent competitors and the target audience, and the channels used on the social networking sites.
For his part, Ahmed Al Ajmi, Director of Thuraya BZ, an innovative company, presented a presentation on how to calculate working hours, types of prices, how to add profit margin, calculate working hours, and provided a range of advice to young entrepreneurs.
Ahmad Tawqi, a professional photographer who won the National Geographic 2 Award, gave a presentation on his book Basics of Photography and highlighted its titles, and that it is intended through this book to help novice photographers.
At the end of the seminar, Dr. Abdul Moneim bin Mansour Al Hosni, Minister of Information and Chairman of the Main Committee of Muscat International Book Fair, honored the participants in the symposium.
