Murad Gatin, Director of the Russian Cultural Centers in Egypt, received the artist, singer and composer / Mohamed Ezzat, founder of the Al-Banadara Ensemble, in the presence of Sherif Gad, responsible for cultural activity at the Russian Cultural Center in Cairo. She is a celebrity at the Tchaikovsky Theater in the Russian Center, and she had an audience that regularly attended her concerts due to the authentic Egyptian singing heritage she presented.
Jad pointed out that Al-Banadra used to present promising young voices to encourage them, in addition to the voice and melodies of the great artist, Mohamed Ezzat.
For his part, Murad Jatin welcomed the return of cooperation with the band Al-Banadra and the artist Mohamed Ezzat, stressing that this type of singing helps us to get acquainted with the Egyptian folk singing heritage, which is a very rich heritage that I have known since my studies at Cairo University. Jatin added that the Russian House in Cairo was, is, and will be. It remains a strong bridge for Russian-Egyptian communication in all fields, especially in the arts, which is one of the most important elements of the soft powers that help develop relations between our two countries and deepen our friendship.
Gad indicated that, with the decision of the director of the Russian Center, the Al-Banadara troupe will return to the Russian theater after a hiatus for years, and its first concert will be on Wednesday, July 12, within the framework of the celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Egypt and Russia.
