TOTALas the main partner of African football and title sponsor of the famous TOTAL Africa Cup Of Nations proudly reveal the new Total Man Of The Match trophy for the TOTAL AFCON Egypt 2019.
Total Man of The Match trophy design contest is a competition, which saw the host country’s most brilliant artists reinterpret the coveted trophy. Their depictions mesmerized the esteemed jury as well as the general public. After the selection of the two finalists by a prestigious jury (see previous press notes), avid fans of football and art expressed their opinion through Total Football Together’s social media accounts. While both designs raised the bar and introduced fresh directions, Hany El Sayed received the majority of votes – becoming the lucky winner of the competition.
“The competition’s true power was its ability to involve everyone in an engaging artistic and athletic conversation. Therefore, I am happy to receive such recognition from the general public,” said Hany El Sayed upon receiving the Man of the Match award.
This contest aims to create links between art and football. It is part of Total Football Together program, which is celebrating the passion of football in all its forms. Total is proud to get onboard many talented Egyptian designers in this challenge and thus offering a unique trophy to the best African players.
The winner will witness the continent’s top players hold his trophy with joy after each and every match. On top, the lucky winner will personally hand his trophy to one of the Total Man Of The Match during the competition.
