An official source in the Saudi Foreign Ministry expressed strong Saudi condemnation of the unfortunate events towards the embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Baghdad.
The source stressed that the Kingdom, while expressing its condemnation of these events, which are contrary to the most basic rules of diplomatic norms and contrary to all relevant international conventions, welcomes the Iraqi government’s position on the rejected attack and the measures it has taken to provide the necessary protection for the safety of the Bahraini mission.
At the end of his statement, the source stressed the ability of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Iraq to overcome this incident, stressing that the Kingdom stands by the two sister countries in all endeavors that will enhance security and stability in the region.
