Preparing for Hajj 1400 .. “Ministry of Hajj and Umrah” announces maintaining the holy Kaaba

A number of Saudi government agencies have completed the periodic maintenance of the Ka’bah before the deadline set by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz.

The maintenance works included the roofing of the Kaaba, which is covered with marble, the increase of water insulation, the treatment of the wooden elements of the roof and the columns, the maintenance of the door, the interior staircase and the doorstep using the latest technology and the best international specifications according to the royal directive. The maintenance work came under the supervision of the Ministry of Finance, Projects on the periodic maintenance work, in coordination with the General Presidency of the Holy Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque and related bodies.

For his part, Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan said that these works are part of the continuous efforts exerted by the Kingdom’s government to serve the two holy mosques. The ministry’s project management office supervises the maintenance works which are concerned with the details for the convenience of visitors to the House of God, providing everything that would serve the beneficent guests allover 24 hours.

In a related context, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, represented by the General Directorate of Human Resources, completed its training course for its employees and seasonal workers during the pilgrimage season 1440H, entitled “How to be an example and make change” in its efforts to develop the human elements participating in the service of the guests of Rahman, For training, at the headquarters of Makkah and Jeddah.

The two-day course highlighted the role of the ministry and work ethics and the importance of sensing the importance of time and greatness in the service of the people of the House of Allah.

For his part, the Advisor and the General Supervisor of the General Department of Human Resources in the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Qazlan said that the ministry is keen to promote the service of pilgrims and to train their staff to serve the guests of the Merciful to the fullest, in accordance with the directives of the wise leadership, In pilgrimage every year, in order to contribute to the satisfaction of the guests of the Beneficent in the care and attention they have given since their arrival and during the performance of the rituals until their return to their countries safe.

Abdulaziz Al-Hazmi, Director General of Human Resources at the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah during the session in Makkah, briefed the participants on the ministry and its services for pilgrims, the rights of pilgrims and the system of sectors working in Hajj and Umrah. Dr. Fahad Al Ahmadi and Safar Al-Afifi Training, work ethics, communication art and seasonal volunteering opportunities and importance. Nasser Al Qurashi from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah also addressed the practical rehabilitation of trainees in Hajj affairs, how to monitor the services provided to the pilgrims and work to improve them.
