During his speech at the ‘Misk Media Forum’ in Cairo, Naqli pointed out that all Saudi media agencies have been transformed into independent bodies to enable them play their effective role in fulfilling their mission, freeing them from bureaucratic constraints, and turning them into modern, sophisticated institutions. Audiovisual media, radio and television, as well as a Saudi journalists’ organization.

He also touched on several issues, including how smart media plays a role in shaping decisions that affect societal concerns, how the official media can cope with the acceleration of events and interact with them, how can state media institutions reach out to spread and influence, and whether government institutions have entered the conflict of the head start and how interdependence and integration between the government sectors and the media system to provide the right news and information quickly and accurately, social networking sites and the development of government media platforms, and whether governments were able to create a new media generation .. Or still rely on the illiteracy of the grass-roots, and whether the state media was able to distinguish between the validity and wrong ideas that offer “reality – aspirations.”
