Some 25 appeals received by the Central Election Commission were related to registration of candidature, said Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of Central Election Commission (CEC) at the press conference held today at CEC, secki-2020.az reports.
M. Panahov said during that period the candidatures of 9 persons from total 25 persons were restored by the CEC, and the candidatures of two persons were terminated because they had double citizenship. The registration of candidatures of 5 persons convicted for grave crimes and haven’t completed their imprisonment term was not possible in accordance with legislation. And the candidatures of 13 persons haven’t been registered because the data on their property was wrong.
