Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit met this evening in the city of Alamein with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
The meeting addressed developments in the region, foremost among them the ongoing war in Gaza and the Syrian crisis, as well as ways to revitalize the Arab–Turkish dialogue within the framework of the Arab League. The two sides also discussed a number of issues of mutual interest.
