07 July – UK Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab spoke to Egyptian Foreign Affairs Minister Sameh Shoukry to follow up on recent developments in the region, including the Middle East Peace Process and the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam.
The two ministers also discussed bilateral issues, including their shared ambition to bolster trade between Egypt and the UK.
Raab and Shoukry also committed to continue working together to tackle the challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic.
