President Sisi Discusses Northwestern Coast Projects

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met today with Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Planning and Economic Development Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Dr. Assem El-Gazzar, and Presidential Advisor for Urban Planning Major General Amir Sayed Ahmed.

The Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency stated that, during the meeting, they tackled the developments in the projects aimed at improving the northwestern coast of Egypt and making optimal use of its lands with the aim of increasing state assets.

The President was also briefed on the developments in urban planning for a number of national projects nationwide, including “Greater Revelation over the Land of Peace” in the vicinity of Moses (Gebel Musa) and St. Catherine Mountains. The President called on all concerned government agencies to coordinate in order to develop this area’s unique tourism potentials so that the project would reflect the history of that sacred spot on the land of Egypt. ‎

During the meeting, the Minister of Planning tackled the developments in the “Egypt Sovereign Fund” and its operation strategy, which is mainly based on providing more direct investment opportunities with the aim of increasing state’s assets and properties and boosting economic growth rates.
