The official spokesman for the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States expressed the Secretary-General’s denunciation and rejection of what can be called a negative campaign of media statements against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, following the “OPEC Plus” decision to partially reduce oil production in the member states of the group.

The spokesman said that these statements are far from the facts and are based only on the complete politicization of purely economic decisions that everyone knows are necessary for the stability of the global economy in light of the serious challenges it faces.

The spokesman praised the well-known and balanced Saudi approach to the stability of oil markets and the firm and principled positions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on regional and international political issues.
