Verify-Sy application, which was developed by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization in cooperation with the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center, achieved the award for the best innovative project using smart technologies to serve energy efficiency in the Arab Energy Efficiency Day competition.
This came during the virtual ceremony organized by the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States (Economic Sector – Energy Administration – Secretariat of the Arab Ministerial Council for Electricity).
The award comes as a result of fruitful cooperation and integration with the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center, the strategic partner of the authority in this field, and reflects the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in digital transformation, and the use of modern technologies in promoting ways to preserve the environment, raise levels of energy efficiency and its uses, and enable consumers to participate effectively in efforts National Energy Saving.
Verify-Sy application is an advanced technical tool that helps consumers to verify the validity of energy efficiency labels data in various home appliances, and to compare them in terms of rationing efficiency and other advantages.
In addition to the energy efficiency field, the application includes a number of other benefits such as verifying the validity of the Saudi quality mark on various products, reading the water consumption rationalization card data, as well as inquiring about used imported cars.
Verify-Sy application was awarded in 2018 the Gulf Customer Experience Awards for the two categories of Best Government Use of Digital and Best Use of Mobile Applications during the ceremony. Which was set up by the Association of Professionals for User Experience (CXPA) in Dubai.
