On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him – His Royal Highness Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of Makkah Region, will have the honor tomorrow to wash the Kaaba.
His Highness will be honored to wash the Kaaba from the inside with Zamzam water mixed with rose water, by massaging the Kaaba wall from the inside with pieces of cloth moistened with this mixture, which has been prepared from an early time by the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, where the Kaaba washing ceremony will take place this year amid precautionary measures strict to limit the spread of the new Corona virus.
His Excellency the General President of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, stressed that the occasion of washing the Kaaba is one of the manifestations of the great care given by the wise leadership – may God support it with the Two Holy Mosques.
He explained that the occasion of washing the Holy Kaaba brought together two matters: the Sunnah of the Prophet, whereby the biography of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, indicated the care of the honorable Kaaba, in reverence and veneration for its sanctity, status and sanctity.
His Excellency praised the wise leadership – may God preserve them – of great care for the Two Holy Mosques and their pilgrims since the era of the founder King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud – may God have mercy on him – all the way to the prosperous era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Highness the Crown Prince – may God preserve them -.
Sheikh Al-Sudais indicated that the washing ceremony of the Kaaba for this year will be subject to intensive precautionary measures; In view of what the Kingdom and the world are facing from the spread of the Corona pandemic, stressing that the presidency is providing the utmost efforts and energies in accordance with the highest precautionary standards and preventive measures ordered by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques – may God support him.
