His Highness Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture, met today with the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities in the Arab Republic of Egypt, Dr. Khaled Ahmed Al-Anani, within the framework of his official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt to enhance joint cultural cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness discussed the prospects for Saudi-Egyptian cultural cooperation and the importance of its development, based on the deep brotherly relations that link the Kingdom with Egypt, in addition to exploring ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of antiquities and museums and revive the arts of Islamic civilization, especially in the exchanges of borrowing artifacts between museums. The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Egypt Osama bin Ahmed Naqli, the General Supervisor of Cultural Affairs and International Relations Rakan Al-Touq, the CEO of the Heritage Authority Dr. Jasser Al-Harbash, and the Undersecretary for International Cultural Relations Eng.
