The Omani “Majan” civilization and the Egyptian Nile Valley civilization, history speaks in the language of brotherhood, the Omani Majan civilization and the Egyptian Nile Valley civilization. History speaks in the language of brotherhood, from whose pillars the fragrance of Omani frankincense emanates and its vapors rise in the temples of the Nile Valley civilization. This relationship remained preserved between these two blessed countries, Egypt, which God blessed in his book on the tongue of his Prophet Yusuf, “Enter Egypt, God willing, in safety,” and between the words of the Messenger of God in Oman and its people: “If the people of Oman had come, they would not have cursed you or beat you.” That prestige that marked our relations was, as we allude between, and the hadith is security, civility, and sophistication. Likewise, our relations will continue to derive from civilization its spirit, from brotherhood its bond, and from Arabism its identity. That is what we believed in in the Sultanate of Oman and, God willing, we will remain believers in it and in Egypt, as His Majesty Sultan Qaboos – may his soul rest in peace – said: “It has been proven throughout the stages of contemporary history that Egypt was the main element in building the Arab entity and ranks, and it never hesitated to sacrifice one day And defending the causes of Arabs and Islam, and it deserves all the appreciation.”

We are celebrating today relations that have been characterized throughout their history and at their various official and popular levels with clear privacy and distinction, in which the spirit of affection, cooperation and convergence of visions prevailed, presenting the necessities of preserving the security and stability of the region and supporting the capabilities of its peoples and the sincere commitment of both countries to the security and stability of the other and the values of brotherhood and Arabism, and as such who sincerely made it a role model for stable and fruitful diplomatic relations.

These relationships have gone through many stages during which these meanings have been clearly and unequivocally confirmed. We still remember, with appreciation and pride, the Sultanate and His Majesty the late Sultan Qaboos bin Said, may God have mercy on him, demonstrated adherence to the existing diplomatic relations between the two countries, and a courageous refusal to comply with calls launched to boycott Egypt at any stage. We can also see the strength of relations and mutual concern for high-level coordination by following the pace of mutual visits between leaders, the latest of which was the visit of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to the Sultanate in June 2022, and his meeting with his brother, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, and the tangible cordiality and understanding that surrounded it. .

This visit, and the in-depth research and deliberation that took place on regional and bilateral issues, and the signing of a large number of memorandums of understanding, embodied the convergence of the visions of the leaderships of the two countries and their clear keenness to support relations and deepen joint cooperation in various fields. It is not possible to talk about the privacy and distinction of the relationship, without addressing the presence of a distinguished Egyptian community that enjoys the care we appreciate from the Omani authorities. At the same time, it plays a vital and tangible role as a civilized bridge between the two countries and as a link between the two brotherly peoples.
