Saudi Chief of the General Staff discusses with his Egyptian counterpart defense and military cooperation

His Excellency the Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, discussed with His Excellency the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces in the Arab Republic of Egypt, Lieutenant General Osama Askar, the defense and military cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries.

During the talks held today at the headquarters of the General Staff in Riyadh, the two sides reviewed the strategic relations between the two countries, especially in the field of defense and military cooperation, and ways to enhance it. The two sides also discussed a number of issues and topics of common interest.

Today, the Chief of the General Staff received the Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces, and an official reception ceremony was held for His Excellency.

The talks and reception ceremonies were attended by a number of leaders and officers of the Saudi and Egyptian armed forces.
