KSrelief in Al-Dair neighbourhood, Hayran district, Hajjah governorate, provided medical services to 3,460 beneficiaries, within a month.
398 patients attended the Epidemiological Diseases Clinic, 167 patients attended the Emergency Clinic, 1,093 patients attended the Internal Medicine Clinic, and 66 patients attended the Reproductive Health Clinic. Medicines were dispensed to 1,730 people, while 6 patients attended the Surgery and Dressing Department, in addition to 8 beneficiaries from the Awareness and Education Department. In the accompanying services, the Nursing Services Department visited 765 patients, and 8 waste disposal activities were implemented.
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center also inaugurated the medical camp for various surgeries in the Socotra archipelago, which will be implemented within a week.
The camp aims to examine more than 4,000 cases of both sexes, in addition to carrying out about 300 operations to remove cataracts, with implanting lenses for those in need. The camp will also perform 100 various operations for eye diseases, including glaucoma, the tear duct and eye operations for children.
The Deputy Governor of Socotra, Brigadier General Saleh Ali Al-Soqtari, appreciated the generous Saudi support provided for development and humanitarian projects to alleviate the suffering of the people in the governorate, stressing the importance of the role of the King Salman Humanitarian Relief Center towards the people of the island and all the Yemeni people, through the implementation of a number of vital projects that benefit the Yemeni people. .
The deputy governor reviewed the importance of the medical camp in light of the absence of specialized hospitals and clinics in the province, which requires travel outside the province and costs patients huge financial losses.
This comes within the framework of the humanitarian and relief aid that the Kingdom provides through the center to countries and peoples in need in various countries of the world.
