88 tons of food and medical supplies are on board of 11th Saudi relief plane to help the earthquake victims in Syria and Turkey

Today, the eleventh Saudi relief plane left King Khalid International Airport, heading to Gaziantep International Airport, carrying on board 88 tons of food baskets and shelter materials that include tents, blankets, and shelter bags, in addition to medical supplies that include intravenous fluids, solutions to treat dehydration, medicines, and analgesics. Medicines for chronic diseases such as pressure and diabetes, medicines for cold diseases, sterilizers, and ointments to treat allergies and burns.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the Kingdom, Fatih Ulusoy, gave his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom’s government, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Highness the Trustworthy Crown Prince – may God protect them – for the generous Saudi assistance provided to the earthquake victims in his country, which contributed, thanks to God, to alleviating the suffering of those affected and contributing to providing what their emergency needs. This comes within the framework of the Saudi Relief Bridge, which is run by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid, to help those affected by the earthquake in Syria and Turkey, in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect them both – And an embodiment of the noble humanitarian role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
