The Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Egypt, Mr. Abdullah Al-Rahbi, stated that Egypt and the Sultanate of Oman will sign today, Monday, an agreement on preventing double taxation and evasion, and a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in areas related to financial policies and developments.
The agreement and memorandum of understanding will be signed on the Omani side by Sultan bin Salem Al Habsi, Minister of Finance, and on the Egyptian side, Dr. Muhammad Muait, Minister of Finance.
The Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman in Cairo and its permanent representative to the League of Arab States, Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Rahbi, said that the Egyptian-Omani business forum will be organized today, in which the Ministers of Finance, Trade and Industry, and the head of the Investment Authority of the Sultanate of Oman will participate, along with a number of Egyptian businessmen, to introduce investment opportunities in Oman, especially with the start of Drawing a roadmap for investment in the Sultanate of Oman by the beginning of 2021.
