The Saudi Minister of Industry discusses with Egyptian PM strengthening industrial and mining sectors

His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, met with the Prime Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, in the presence of His Excellency the Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Ahmed Samir Saleh, and on the Saudi side, His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Eng. Osama bin Abdulaziz Al-Zamil, and Ambassador The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Egypt, Osama bin Ahmed Naqli, and a number of leaders of the industry and mineral wealth system, as part of his official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The meeting discussed opportunities to enhance the partnership between the two countries in the industrial and mining sectors, and discussed exploiting the promising investment opportunities provided by the national strategies for industry in the two brotherly countries.

Ways to increase access to non-oil exports between the two sides were also discussed, and to benefit from the great economic capabilities and potentials enjoyed by the two brotherly countries, in a way that achieves mutual benefit and common interests.

It is noteworthy that His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources started yesterday an official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt. It comes within the framework of the Kingdom’s endeavor to enhance the role of the industrial and mining sectors in the map of the national economy, and to open doors for investors from all over the world, in addition to reviewing qualitative investment opportunities, and highlighting the Kingdom’s initiatives to advance the two strategic sectors.
