Russians in Cairo.. An open dialogue with Moscow

The Russian House in Cairo recently organized a round table entitled “Mechanisms of Interaction between Moscow and Russian Citizens Residing Abroad”. Members of the Coordinating Council of Russian Expatriates in Egypt participated from Cairo. Nikolai Deliev, Head of the Social Projects Department of the Moscow Government, and Dredez Eugene, Deputy Head of the Foreign Economy and Relations Department, participated from Moscow. International, Valentin Makarov, Second Secretary at the Russian Embassy in Cairo, and Murad Gatin, Director of Russian Cultural Centers in Egypt.
Jatin opened the meeting, pointing to the importance of building bridges of communication between the motherland and Russian citizens residing abroad, and discussing ways of joint cooperation. The Russian House in Cairo and Alexandria is always open to members of the Russian community in Egypt.
Nadya Sybrina emphasized the need for Russian citizens abroad to be supported by the Moscow government. Ludmila Salama, head of the Coordinating Council for Russian Expatriates, spoke about the multiple activities carried out by the Coordinating Council to preserve the Russian identity of Russian citizens.
Daria Matsuk, responsible for the “Pobeda” Association for Voluntary Work, spoke about the efforts of Russian and Egyptian youth in presenting a huge amount of activities carried out by a number of Russian and Egyptian volunteers in the framework of supporting bilateral relations between the two countries.
