The General Directorate of Passports announced the arrival of (1,659,837) pilgrims during the Hajj season for this year 1444 AH through all the Kingdom’s air, land and sea ports, until the end of Sunday 12/7/1444 AH corresponding to 6/25/2023 AD.
Passports indicated that the number of pilgrims coming from outside the Kingdom through the air ports reached (1,592,199) pilgrims, including the beneficiaries of the Makkah Road initiative, which amounted to (242,272) pilgrims, while the number of those coming through the land ports reached (60,807) pilgrims, while the number of those coming through the sea ports reached (6,831) pilgrims.
The General Directorate of Passports emphasized harnessing all its capabilities to facilitate entry procedures for the pilgrims, by supporting its platforms at the international air, land and sea ports with the latest technical devices that are staffed by qualified human cadres in different languages.
