The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) inaugurated the Saudi Noor Specific Voluntary Program to combat blindness and the diseases that cause it in the city of Ouagadougou, the capital of the Republic of Burkina Faso, in cooperation with the World Sight Foundation, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Burkinabe Ministry of Health and Hygiene, Dr. Estelle Tabri, and the former Ambassador of the Republic of Burkina Faso to the Kingdom, Omar Diawara.

During the campaign, the volunteer medical team of the center will provide its services in eight specialties in the field of ophthalmology: retinal operations, retinal injections, laser treatment, cataracts, strabismus, eye sockets, glaucoma operations, and minor operations, benefiting 1,190 individuals.

This comes within the humanitarian and relief projects implemented by the Kingdom – represented by its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Relief Center – to support the medical sector and help patients and people with eye diseases in brotherly and friendly countries.
