The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) expressed the Kingdom’s welcome to the United Nations announcement regarding the completion of the withdrawal of crude oil from the “Safer” floating storage tank, which is estimated at (1.14) million barrels of crude oil.
The Ministry reiterated the Kingdom’s appreciation of the efforts of His Excellency the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, and the United Nations working team, who worked to harness all efforts to end the problem of the “Safer” floating reservoir. the threat of the Safer floating tank; As the Kingdom was one of the first donor countries to provide financial grants through the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid, as part of its efforts with the international community to solve the problem of the floating reservoir “Safer”.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs thanked the leadership of the “Coalition for Reinforcing Legitimacy in Yemen” for its support to facilitate the process of the operational plan until the completion of the successful and efficient unloading of the “Safer” floating tank.
