The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) participates with a pavilion in the International Defense and Security Equipment Exhibition (DSEI 2023), led by the General Authority for Military Industries and with the participation of the Ministry of Investment, the Saudi Military Industries Company “Sami”, and the Saudi Chemical Holding Company, in addition to the participation in the Global Defense Exhibition, during the period from 12 to September 15th at the “Excel London” Center in the British capital, London.
The Kingdom’s representation in the international exhibition is an affirmation of the unlimited support and special care of the military industries sector in the Kingdom, with the aim of embodying its wise and ambitious vision towards strengthening the Kingdom’s strategic independence, developing its national military industrial capabilities, and striving to localize this promising sector by more than 100%. 50 percent of spending on military equipment and services by the year 2030 AD, so that the sector becomes an important tributary for the Saudi economy, through the transfer of technology, support for the local investor, and the provision of job opportunities for the sons and daughters of the country. Military and defense sector, enhancing investment opportunities in the sector and maximizing its contribution to the national economy.
The exhibition aims to shed light on the attractive investment environment for the sector and its great incentives and promising opportunities, by opening horizons of international cooperation with major regional and international companies, and enabling qualitative partnerships between local companies operating in the sector and their counterparts from international companies specialized in defense and security industries.
