His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, arrived today in New York City, USA, to participate in the high-level discussion session of the Security Council on the situation in the Middle East (ME), including the issue of Palestine, at the invitation of His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Brazil, Mr. Mauro Vieira, Brazil assumes the presidency of the Security Council for this month.
The high-level discussion session will discuss developments in Gaza and its surroundings, the international efforts made regarding them, the importance of protecting civilians, and returning to the path of peace in accordance with international laws and norms.
His Highness will also hold a number of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of his participation in the high-level discussion session of the Security Council.
