The previous MP Media representative Osama SharShar, editor-in-chief of Al-Nahar newspaper, participated in the annual Iftar party held by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Cairo, at the kind invitation of Ambassador Askar Genis, Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Cairo, in the presence of a large group of media professionals, journalists and public figures.
SharShar said that Kazakhstan represents a safety valve for Central Asia, and cooperation and coordination between it and Egypt must be increased, pointing out that there are broad areas for cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of oil and gas, in which Kazakhstan has a large and important reserve.

SharShar added to the necessity of intensifying mutual visits between the two peoples and exchanging cultures between them in a manner befitting the history and civilization of the two countries, noting the necessity of increasing the volume of trade exchange between the two countries as well as developing Kazakh tourism to Egypt, pointing out the importance of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif for Muslims in Kazakhstan, as Ambassador Askar Genis himself graduated from Al-Azhar University.
