Women have a rich history in the founding era, and their roles were evident in various social, economic, cultural, literary, and sometimes political fields.

In the founding community in Diriyah, women, in addition to building and caring for their families, had tasks related to managing their home and its affairs, with all the difficulties and burdens of life that they were facing at the time, as they were the ones in charge of its affairs.

The woman in Ad-Diriyah was distinguished from others by good qualities such as generosity, patience, courage, pride, pride, good management, and others. She used to participate and compete with the man in renting to the frightened person seeking shelter. This was known at the time in Najd as “al-Dakhala,” where the woman would protect the intruder from everything that might harm him.
