Today, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) in the Arab Republic of Egypt held a reception on the occasion of the Founding Day in the presence of the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Egypt, Osama bin Ahmed Nuqli, the Kingdom’s Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, Ambassador Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Matar, members of the mission, and resident and visiting citizens.
The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques delivered a speech in which he congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect them – and the people of the Kingdom on the occasion of the anniversary of the Founding Day.
Ambassador Noqli said: Today we remember together with great pride the heroic epic of founding, at the hands of Imam Muhammad bin Saud – may God have mercy on him – three centuries ago, out of pride in the solid roots of our proud state. . In recognition of the sacrifices of righteous imams and kings who consolidated the foundations of the monotheistic state, relying on the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Noble Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace.
He added that our country is proceeding on its triumphant journey from the first Saudi state to the establishment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the hands of its unifier, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud – may God have mercy on him – and his royal sons after him, reaching the growth, prosperity, stability and distinguished international status it is witnessing today under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Highness the Trustworthy Crown Prince – may God support them -, asking God Almighty to preserve the wise leadership and protect the homeland of glory, pride and dignity.
The ceremony included a number of diverse national activities, including visual presentations about the history of the Saudi state over three centuries, and a number of artistic performances. The embassy headquarters was also decorated with the Founding Day identity.
