As part of his Middle East tour, German Foreign Minister Dr. Johann Fadevoll will arrive in Cairo this evening, following earlier stops in Qatar, Kuwait, and Tel Aviv.
During his visit, Dr. Fadevoll will meet with his Egyptian counterpart, Dr. Badr Abdelatty. The discussions will focus on the current negotiation framework and the Gaza situation, alongside other regional issues of shared concern.
Prior to his arrival, the minister remarked: “This week marks a decisive moment for the success of the first phase of the peace plan […]—and for that, every effort is worth making.”
This marks Dr. Fadevoll’s second visit to Egypt since assuming office in May 2025, underscoring the depth of German–Egyptian dialogue and the importance of sustained coordination on regional affairs.
