Counselor Omar Marwan, Minister of Justice of the Arab Republic of Egypt, received Her Excellency Ambassador Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Justice in the New Administrative Capital in Cairo.
During the meeting; Counselor Omar Marwan praised the bonds of joint cooperation between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Kingdom of Bahrain, stressing Egypt’s keenness to develop these relations in various fields, especially in the judicial field, appreciating the fraternal and positive stances of the Kingdom of Bahrain in supporting the process of stability and development in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
from her side; Ambassador Zainal stressed the depth and strength of the close partnership relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples, which are based on the principles of brotherhood, interdependence and close solidarity, and the importance of opening new horizons to enhance cooperation and coordination between them, noting the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to support judicial cooperation with the Arab Republic of Egypt in light of the agreements and protocols. During the meeting, a number of topics of common interest were discussed, and ways to enhance and develop judicial and legal cooperation between the two countries were reviewed in a way that meets the common ambitions between the two brotherly countries, and the importance of benefiting from the experiences in both countries, exchanging legal and judicial expertise, and supporting mechanisms for implementing the judicial agreements and protocols signed between them. Which includes several areas, including the extradition of criminals, the transfer of convicts, and the exchange of execution of sentences.
