The Cabinet welcomed the results of the extraordinary Arab Summit held yesterday, Tuesday, in Cairo, the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, with the participation of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the country, “may God protect him.”
According to QNA, the Council expressed its hope that the results of the summit would contribute to strengthening the Arab position rejecting the plans to displace Palestinian citizens from their lands, and seeking to end the war in the Gaza Strip, lift the siege on it and rebuild it, and that the results of the summit would also support Arab efforts aimed at achieving just and lasting peace in the region, which would restore all legitimate rights to the brotherly Palestinian people, foremost of which is their right to establish their independent state on their lands occupied in 1967 with East Jerusalem as its capital.
