* What about establishing two additional versions of 57357, Qibli (upper Egypt and Bahri (delta), to accommodate the population increase and ease the burden on the people of the Upper Egypt and the Lower one?

Today March 16 2025, the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Cairo, in partnership with Qatar Charity, organized an iftar at the 57357 Children’s Cancer Hospital as part of the Iftar Sa’im project funded by the Fund.

In the presence of Ambassador Tariq Al-Ansari, Qatar’s Ambassador to Cairo the Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, hospital officials, and media professionals, His Excellency toured the hospital’s various departments, bringing smiles to the faces of the children by taking photos with them and distributing gifts in a friendly and joyful atmosphere.

Ambassador Al-Ansari added that the initiative falls within the context of the State of Qatar’s policy of caring for all segments of society, including children, and fostering an atmosphere of optimism among them and their families. He praised the tremendous efforts and medical services provided to sick children and the impressive results demonstrated by the high recovery rate. He considered this hospital’s experience worthy of being emulated.

Mr. Al-Ansari added that those in charge of the hospital’s management have a clear vision for developing and expanding the hospital’s capacity to allow for the treatment of a wide range of cases. They are constantly seeking ways to provide the financial resources to achieve this, especially since this venerable medical institution was founded primarily on the personal efforts of philanthropists.
