The European Union Delegation in Egypt held its annual Ramadan Iftar 1446 AH (1948 Hijri) today, under the auspices of Ambassador Angelina Eichhorst, Head of the European Union Delegation to Egypt. The event was attended by representatives of the Egyptian media and prominent figures.
Ambassador Angelina Eichhorst welcomed the guests, praising her love to Egypt, which is embodied in her marriage to a respected Egyptian man.
Alongside the Ramadan rituals, Ambassador Angelina Eichhorst delivered a speech in Arabic, expressing her pride in her Egyptian identity, thanks to her Egyptian husband. She described Ramadan in Egypt as a unique event, unlike other Islamic countries.
Ambassador Eichhorst presented a cultural competition segment, similar to Ramadan riddles, with contestants winning souvenirs such as Ramadan lanterns.
Ambassador Angelina concluded the event by emphasizing close cooperation with the media within the framework of the common good for the advancement of humanity in all corners of the world.
