Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar on Monday reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to regional peace, while warning that any Indian aggression would be met with a swift and resolute response.*
“Today, we have laid all the facts before both international and domestic media,” Tarar stated, referring to recent allegations by India regarding supposed terrorist camps within Pakistani territory.
The minister dismissed India’s claims, asserting that the areas identified as alleged terror camps were, in fact, civilian-populated zones. “Pakistan is a responsible state, committed not only to regional but also global peace,” he said. “We consistently condemn terrorism in all its forms, anywhere in the world.”
He emphasized that Pakistan’s actions repeatedly demonstrate its dedication to peace but warned that the country would go to any extent to defend its sovereignty.
Tarar also criticized India for leveling baseless accusations while ignoring human rights violations in Indian-occupied Kashmir. “Instead of propaganda at the Line of Control, India should introspect and address the issues within its own borders,” he added.
He noted that members of the international media had witnessed the reality for themselves, exposing the discrepancy between Indian claims and the on-ground truth.
