Malaysian green technology company **Nextgreen Global Bhd** has made its entry into the international biofertiliser market with its first shipment to **Libya**.

The move comes through its wholly owned subsidiary **Nextgreen Fertilizer Sdn Bhd**, which signed an exclusive distribution agreement with associate firm **P Teguh Nextgreen Sdn Bhd (PTNG)** to serve as the sole distributor of its biofertiliser products in Libya.

Under the agreement, PTNG has committed to purchasing up to **25,000 tonnes of biofertiliser annually**, comprising **20,000 tonnes of solid fertiliser** and **5,000 tonnes of liquid fertiliser**.

Nextgreen Managing Director **Datuk Lim Thiam Huat** described the deal as a major step forward for the company, noting strong support from the Libyan government. He said the biofertiliser products are specifically designed to address pressing agricultural issues such as **nutrient-depleted soil** and **water scarcity**.

> “As natural soil conditioners and plant boosters, these products improve soil health, enhance nutrient uptake, and increase water retention — all essential for sustainable agriculture in Libya’s arid climate,” he said.

To support the agreement, PTNG has also entered into a supply and procurement partnership with Libyan firms **Inbat Global for Importing Agricultural Machinery and Supplies** and the **Fazzan Cooperative Association for Organic Agriculture**. Inbat Global will oversee procurement and serve as the authorised supplier to Fazzan, which will manage the distribution of the fertilisers across the Libyan market.

This expansion marks a key milestone in Nextgreen’s mission to deliver sustainable, eco-friendly solutions to global agricultural markets.
